Funding and Donations
Fairhaven Garden Trust is a small independent charity (No. 265686), set up to manage and protect a beautiful 130 acre ancient woodland estate with private conservation broad. The work we do is entirely funded by visitor admissions, memberships, donations and grant funding. Regular visitors will notice our continual efforts to promote valuable habitat for wildlife by:

-
Managing the woodland appropriately.
-
Introducing new planting schemes.
-
Installing wildlife boxes and feeding stations.
-
Keeping the gardens accessible for visitors of all accessibility levels.
Larger projects within the garden, such as the restoration of the Boat House, and installation of our bird hides, are funded through grant aid. We have several projects in mind for the coming years, such as:

-
Urgently upgrading our accessible pleasure boats.
-
Restoring the island in the Broad.
-
Expanding local engagement, education and outreach events organised by our Events and Engagement team member.
-
Developing a new pathway to the quay for boat trips, designed with wheelchair accessibility in mind.
-
Renewing our fleet of mobility scooters.
-
Create a versatile space for learning, entertainment, storage, and shelter. It will serve as an educational hub for interactive activities and a recreational area for events and gatherings.

Fingers crossed we are successful with our grant applications. If you would like to support the Trust, you can buy membership or make a donation. If you would like to donate please consider Gift Aiding as we are able to claim back an additional 25p in every £1 which helps to raise extra needed funding at no cost to you.

Thank you for your support.
